Discount Tire Opens New Store in Duluth, GA |

Scottsdale, Ariz. - August 17, 2007
Discount Tire, America's largest independent tire retailer, today announced
the opening of its new store located at 3105 Steve Reynolds Blvd. in Duluth, GA. |

|
|
The 6,946-square-foot Discount Tire facility is situated on Steve Reynolds Blvd.,
south of Old Norcross Road, near the Kroger Shopping Plaza. The Duluth store is
operated by seven employees and is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday
and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The store is closed on Sunday. |

Discount Tire is famous for its "Little Old Lady" icon, which has been a fixture
in the company's advertising since the 1970's. The company has earned a place in
the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest running TV commercial, featuring
the Little Old Lady. The "Thank You" TV spot shows her throwing a tire through a
Discount Tire store window and ends with the line: "If ever you're not satisfied
with one of our tires, please feel free to bring it back. Thank you, Discount
Tire Company." |
